Siblings - March 2017

Joining up with The Siblings Project with these photos of Little Miss A and Baby R.

I love this photo and their big smiles. It's rare to catch them together actually both smiling. Usually one or other is moving or squirming about which means blurred body parts!

This picture makes me smile as Baby R has such a look of affection for his sister. It's so lovely to see. And so he should as she really cares for him. She always asks for a 'Good Morning cuddle from him' and is so good at looking out for her baby brother. She really proved this when Baby R started at nursery recently as she asked to see him and was also allowed to call down to his room to make sure he was ok. When they meet up with each other in the nursery garden during the day apparently there are massive smiles from both them.

It's lovely to see them playing more and more together. Little Miss A wants to get Baby R involved in her games. This picture was taken when they were having fun in a large sandpit at a garden centre and she wanted to bury Baby R's feet, before having her own buried. She thought it was hilarious whereas Baby R was nonplussed about being buried! Little Miss A does have her moments where she gets cross at Baby R for trying to take a board game piece or getting in the way whilst she's playing, but these moments are few and far between which I'm relieved about.

We couldn't be prouder of how well they have both adapted to our new house and surroundings. They've both settled in to nursery really well which has made the whole transition up here so much easier. Mr MoaB is getting to spend a lot more time with these two as it's now only a 15 minute drive to work instead of over an hour. Cheshire is starting to feel like home.

  1. Beautiful photos of Little Miss A and Baby R. Looks like Little Miss A was having a lot of fun in that sandpit even if Baby R was more nonchalant about it all. I love that first photo - what gorgeous smiles from both of them :-) #siblingsproject
