My Sunday Photo 30-10-2016

Sunday, 30 October 2016

This is my favourite picture of this week for #MySundayPhoto.

It may not be fully focused but I just love this picture of Little Miss A and Baby R. They were both meant to be in bed but were awake and messing about in Daddy's side of the bed whilst he was away! I love the way they are looking at each other. I think you can really tell the affection they have for each other.

My Sunday Photo 23-10-2016

Sunday, 23 October 2016

This is my favourite picture of this week for #MySundayPhoto.

We've been so busy with starting to get things sorted for our move up to Cheshire that I haven't taken many photos this week. This was taken today as we went out to enjoy the sunshine and did the Ugly Bug Ball Trail that they currently have at Waddesdon Manor. Little Miss A always embarks on these types of things with such enthusiasm and races to find each thing along the way.

Siblings - October 2016

Saturday, 22 October 2016

Joining up with The Siblings Project with these photos of Little Miss A and Baby R.

This has to be my favourite picture I've taken of the pair of them so far! They look so cute both dressed up as pirates! Little Miss A brought the bear home from her nursery for a week so we hosted a pirate party for her toys as the bear had exactly the same costume as her! Baby R was able to join in with his really cute costume too!

We managed to actually get away for a few days this month for our only holiday of the year. We went to North Wales and took a few pictures of the pair on the beach on a couple of different days.

Somehow I didn't publish a post for September so I'm including photos for last month as well.

This is another of my favourites. We're not really Star Wars fans but Baby R was given this outfit so I had to get a picture of him in it. They look so cute together here!

I also took these photos on a day when they had quite similar outfits on. Of course, I couldn't get Little Miss A to just smile for the camera, she kept making silly faces! I think the second picture captures how much she adores her brother. And his affection for her is really starting to show as he seems to save his best smiles for his big sister.

My Sunday Photo 16-10-2016

Sunday, 16 October 2016

This is my favourite picture of this week for #MySundayPhoto.

This picture was taken this week at Talacre Lighthouse in Prestatyn, which is the oldest lighthouse in Wales. We managed to finally get away for a little holiday and went to North Wales for a few nights. I love seeing these three together. They really are my world.

My Sunday Photo 09-10-2016

Sunday, 9 October 2016

This is my favourite picture of this week for #MySundayPhoto.

Little Miss A is never happier than when she's on a zip wire! It definitely comes from her Dad! She was so pleased to find this one at a local playground and has the confidence to launch herself and get on the seat. She then has such strength for a little one to hold on and likes to lean right back!

Me & Mine - September 2016

Friday, 7 October 2016

Joining up for with the Me and Mine Family Portrait Project with these photos of our little family for September.

Last-minute again! And similar to last month, it was nigh-on impossible to get Little Miss A to stay still and not make silly faces! The pictures were just taken in our back garden but as we are going to be relocating soon it felt appropriate to have some photos in our own garden as a memory.

After the extremely tough few months we have had, this month has been all about getting back into some sort of normal routine. However, we have been making some big life decisions and the news is that we are going to be making a big move up to Cheshire in the next couple of months. There's so much to sort out and arrange so we'll have to go through some short term strain and stresses to achieve our long term aim of moving up North which will also take us closer to Mr MoaB's family.

September Highs:
  • - We had a fun day at the Bucks County Show. I spent some time volunteering in the NCT baby changing tent and we also got to see Mr MoaB as he had a stall with his company. There's always so much going on and we only ever see a fraction of it!
  • - Spent a lovely day with some close friends at Hanbury Manor Hotel in Hertfordshire where they were staying for the weekend. We explored the grounds and took advantage of the swimming pool.
  • - Baby R started swimming lessons. He hasn't started as early as his sister did (at 6 weeks) but I really hope he enjoys swimming as much as she does and I can just picture them in the future having so much fun in the pool together.
  • - My Aunt & Uncle visited and took me and the kids out for lunch (Mr MoaB was working). It was lovely that they made the trip. They have offered a lot of support over the last few difficult months we've had.
  • - Went for a nice walk at Coombe Hill with a couple of the Mum's I got to know through our NCT antenatal classes. It's so lovely seeing our kids playing together (there's only 1 month in age between Little Miss A and their boys). I'm going to really miss their friendship when we move.
  • - We took advantage of the Heritage Open Days again this year. The highlight was definitely having the chance to try bell ringing in St Mary's Church in Aylesbury. Think I enjoyed giving it a go even more than Little Miss A! On the Sunday we went to the Tudor Fayre organised by Aylesbury Town Council. This is a fantastic annual event.
  • - When we found out about the opportunity to relocate to Cheshire with Mr MoaB's job, we quickly needed to go up to determine if it was right for us. Luckily we found somewhere that is. So we could explore, we stayed with Mr MoaB's family so it was a bonus that we got to spend some time with them.
  • - Our close friends were celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary (a fantastic milestone) and their daughters' had organised a surprise party for them. We managed to get organised and take the trip down there to surprise them. I'm so glad we did and it was nice to have a night away.
  • - Little Miss A and Baby R both had their booster jabs at the same time. I'm so proud of the way Little Miss A handled having her injections. No tears and she was more concerned with Baby R and his crying. She is such a great big sister.

My Sunday Photo 02-10-2016

Sunday, 2 October 2016

This is my favourite picture of this week for #MySundayPhoto.

It was taken this week on a dog walk when I just had Baby R with me as his sister was at nursery. He was looking up at me with his gorgeous eyes from his baby carrier.
