Yesterday we went into town for the Halloween Fun organised by Aylesbury Town Council. We went along for Spooktacular Fun last year so thought we'd take advantage again of the free activities and entertainment on offer.
When we arrived, the event was in full swing. We caught the tail-end of the local magician ‘Simon Says’. Little Miss A doesn't really understand magic yet so we went for a wander to see what else was going on.
We stopped to see the pumpkin creations by local artist Tim O’Sullivan, they were fantastic.
Next we went and played a few of the Halloween themed games. Little Miss A had a 'Spooky' tattoo done. It had obviously been a busy afternoon all ready as Little Miss A had the last tattoo before they ran out (was a bit worried there was going to be a scene if she didn't get one!). There was a long queue for the crafts tent with the face-painting inside so we didn't go in there.
We then heard the Thriller music start up and headed over to watch the Spotlight Musical Theatre group performing the classic Michael Jackson routine. They then taught the audience some of the dance moves. It was so funny watching Little Miss A have a go.
After the dancing, we watched the Halloween pantomime - Panto-ween. The Mayor then judged the fancy dress competition before the Theatre group returned so Little Miss A had another go at the dance before we headed home!
Another really fun event - all for free. Each year Little Miss A can get more involved and it's great fun to watch!
