Food, Glorious Food at the International Market in Aylesbury

Saturday, 9 May 2015

Over the last few days there has been an International Market at Kingsbury in Aylesbury.

This week I spotted a competition on Facebook run by the Aylesbury Vale District Council to win vouchers to spend at the market and was fortunate to win £30!

I collected the vouchers yesterday and then this afternoon we all three went along to see what yummy delights awaited us.

There were stalls with food from countries around the world. We had a wander around and then headed to the stall selling Indian food. Mr MoaB and I love curries so it was easy to spend some of the vouchers at this stall. We got our tea for tonight along with some cooking sauces.

We then went to the Chorizo stall. There was a great variety to choose from including Chilli and Green Pepper. I'm not a fan but Mr MoaB likes it and we gave Little Miss A a taster and she seemed to like it!

With all this food surrounding us it was making us hungry so with our remaining vouchers I chose a French Crepe and Mr MoaB went for a Steak wrap. Both delicious!

It was good to wander around and show Little Miss A the different foods and of course take our pick from all the food for free! Feeling lucky!

Aylesbury holds a General Market every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Tuesdays there is a Vintage & Craft Bazaar. This International Market was organised as part of Love Your Local Market #LYLM2015. There are events going on in Aylesbury throughout May.

It's worth keeping an eye on the AVDC Facebook page for details of all the upcoming events and of course competitions!
